Meet the Founder
Doug Cottrell founded Clarity Web Solutions in 2005 to fulfill his business passion to make life simpler for his customers and to build software solutions that just work. A graduate of Purdue University in Computer Science, he has over 35 years of experience in the software industry spanning from large public companies, to smaller private companies, to non-profits, and two of his own software companies.
Doug can geek-out over technology, yet he gets most excited about applying it to everyday business needs to make things smoother, more efficient, and simply easier. He did meet Bill Gates once when Bill was only a millionaire and still wore wrinkled suits, and Windows was just a gleam in his eye.
His personality type is Designer-Builder, which he loves to parlay into building software solutions, business processes, and Clarity Web Solutions. He and his wife are active in Christian missions with an emphasis on widows, orphans, and war relief in Ukraine.
